An Invitation to Strengthen Your Laudato Si’ Commitment

You are invited to strengthen your Laudato Si’ commitment by action on one of these suggestions. We invite you to share with us what action you are taking. Send to careforearth@bvmsisters.org. The world community is invited to celebrate Earth in a variety of ways in the next few months. How will you celebrate? Write a poem, sing a song, create an Earth ritual for a special day, remember in gratitude Earth during morning prayer, praise the sun, moon, and stars; walk consciously on Earth with each step, recalling that each step is in gratitude for Earth’s gifts to our ancestors, those alive now, and future generations of all species; paint a sunset, eat consciously through non-violent food choices, write a letter to a friend, connecting care of Earth with your religious observance, celebrate Earth Day.

February 16 full moon
March 18 full moon
March 20 Sun passes the celestial equator, one of the two 2022 equinoxes
March 21 Bahai New Year
March 22 World Water Day
April 10-17 Holy Week and Easter
April 16 Full moon
April 15-23 Celebration of Passover
April 22 Earth Day
