“Gert was very intelligent and a perfectionist who gave her all to the work at hand. However, we remember her best as a quiet, humble and grateful woman . . . she wanted all of us to know she never forgot nor ceased loving us and she will always be grateful to everyone with whom she lived and worked, studied and taught.” (Eulogy, Marian Hall Chapel, March 18, 2019)
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by cousins and the Sisters of Charity, BVM, with whom she shared life for 70 years.
