Impelled by the charism of BVM Foundress Mary Frances Clarke, the BVM core values of freedom, education, charity, and justice, and the word of God, the Office of BVM Life and Mission invites sisters, associates, students, and other persons of faith into relationship and supports them in building community, deepening spirituality, and responding to critical human needs. We do this through interactions, presence, and communication.
The BVM sisters share their life, mission, and ministry through interactions that engage students of all grade levels, alumni, and parish and service groups. Every opportunity to share is unique: service, one-on-one conversations, prayer, storytelling, or site visits at Mount Carmel and elsewhere.
How can we partner with you or your organization?
Through activities, together we can discover how we can learn from one another and grow to share the Heart of BVM, and the Heart of You.
We invite you to contact the Office of BVM Life and Mission bvmoutreach@bvmsisters.org.
This is how we share the Heart of BVM.
Building Relationships
Making connections in unique ways tells stories of the past and present, seeks commonalities, creates bonds, and stretches all to see what is at the heart of who we are.
Deepening Spirituality
Sharing the spirit of the BVM Sisters through prayer, reflection, and conversation reveals what is at the heart of who we are.
Responding to the Needs of Others
Caring is a way to reach beyond ourselves. Outreach makes us vulnerable and sensitive to needs different from ours. Serving allows us to understand what is at the heart of who we are.
