Statement: LCWR Calls for Protection of Immigrants
The Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary join with the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) and other people of faith in protesting the increasingly harsh restrictions the Trump administration seeks to impose. Barring women, men and children who suffer from violence and poverty in their home countries is, in no way, an appropriate expression of gratitude by U.S. citizens for the wonderful gifts of God which we enjoy.
